Eliot
Fin was supposed to be taking him to meet a friend, but when he'd gotten a job at the last minute, he'd insisted Fawn Go without him.
"Eliot's nice," his brother had said. "You'll like him, Fawn. Trust me."
And so Fawn had set off to the bar. It was nearly closing time and he moved through the dwindling crowd, heading towards the bar. He was the spitting image of Fin, a bit slighter, his hair much longer. He also dressed far more casually than Fin, favouring tunics over robes.
Nervous, he took a seat at the bar and looked around.

Fawn didn't fully understand the gesture, but he liked it, and after a beat of observation, mimicked it with a bright smile.
"I will say if I am not good with things. ...Stuff. Um, actions," he promised, using the best words he had.

But instead, he offered him his hand to hold. "Will you show me the plant from your world?"

"The flower lady has been helping. Ivy, yes. She is Ivy. They're so big! Bigger than on my home," he added, pulling them to a stop by a large purple vine with plump almost crystal looking fruit hanging from it.

"They are nearly ready," Fawn said, glancing over. "A week, maybe? Then they will be ready to-"
He mimed harvesting fruit.

"Sweet," Fawn said. "Like... The fluffy candy? The candy like a cloud, you know?" Fawn said. "They had it on the station... Mine was pink."

"Yes, very wet," Fawn nodded, excited to talk about things from home. "Like a river."

"Maybe you can come," Fawn said. "I will ask Fin. If we can not have a big gathering, maybe a small one is okay."

"I will tell him. ...Ask him," he corrected himself. "We could invite many friends. ...Or many as will fit in our home."

God he missed Margo. And... Quentin.

"Yes. ...I've never had friends before here," Fawn admitted.

Again Fawn mimicked the action, squeezing in return. Like he was learning how to interact with others.
"Thank you, it is good to have more friends."

Fawn considered that a moment, then nodded.
"Maybe. Brother is good at knowing what people need, not just what they wish."

"Yes, Fin wants me to have more friends than just John," Fawn admitted. "He worries. Too much, sometimes."

"He... Um... Well, no," Fawn admitted. "They fight. ...A lot."

"...It's not fun. Sometimes they get mean with each other," Fawn confessed. "But John says he'll try and be nicer."
