John
He had found his mortal kin. He hadn't even known he might have mortal kin, but when Fawn had wandered into the building with the enticing music and cheap chicken wings, he had been struck by the sight of mortals who felt like his own. They wore little clothing and spun elegantly on tall polls, coaxing coin from the fools who got too near.
Kin. They were kin.
He sat and ate wings as he watched them work, until one finally came over to say hello. She was very tall and mostly muscle, but soft in places men often liked. Her eyes were hazel and her smile sweet, and she smiled as she sat across from him.
"You are really here for the food, huh?" she smiled. "You know the wings across the street are better, sweetheart."
"I came for food, I stayed to watch the sirens work. You are all talented, many will go home broke tonight," Fawn assured her, prompting her to laugh again.
"I like you," she grinned.
"Thank you," Fawn smiled. "I like how you all dance. I would like to learn."
The woman laughed again, then nodded, tossing her ginger hair back behind her shoulders. "Well, we don't have boys in dancing here, I'm afraid, but I do know someone who'd looking for guys. He'd love you. Catch is, he'd want you to be good on a pole before he took you on. You'd have to find lessons... Or do what I did. Get a pole and watch a lot of videos."
They talked for a while, and when Fawn left, he felt renewed. Inspired. He had found his new art.
Walking into the flat, he dropped his coat and announced, "I require a pole for dancing, and access to a tube for mortal videos. A you-tube, they call it."

Fawn nodded in understanding.
"I will help however I can," he promised.
no subject
"Then I'll book the flight as soon as the stars align," he said.
no subject
"...After I get a pole, yes?" Fawn added.
no subject
"After you get the pole," he nodded, knowing it would take at least that long. "You can still dance without one. Just a, ah, suggestion."
no subject
"I know, but I want a pole," Fawn replied. "I wish to be like the women I watched."
no subject
"You really liked them, huh?" John smiled. "It's been a long time since I went to watch dancers."
no subject
"...You would rather watch me though, yes?"
Oh no, would John want to go see other dancers now? ...Why did that thought bother him?
"I also had hot wings. What if we had more wings?"
no subject
John stepped close and took hold of his waist to steady him.
"I'd rather watch you," he assured him. "Wings are really tempting, though.
no subject
"I do not like meat usually, but they smelled good. I feel bad though thinking of chickens that can no longer fly..." he admitted.
no subject
It was only funny because Fawn was so earnest about it. John chuckled and pulled Fawn tight against him.
"The rest of the bird got eaten by someone else," he assured him, his eyes studying the lovely curve of his lips. He found he couldn't look away.
no subject
"Oh," Fawn replied, not sure if that was better or worse.
He watched John in return for a moment, then pushed up onto his toes to kiss him softly.
no subject
The kiss flashed hot all through him like lightning. John caught his breath and his fingers dug into Fawn's waist. When the nymph pulled away, John leaned in to chase one more kiss before he got away. A kiss that was almost desperate, and not shy a bit.
no subject
"You are lustful tonight," the fae purred, smiling softly. "Food first, then flesh."
no subject
"I'm sorry," he said, immediately backing off. "You just get in my head. In my blood...food first."
no subject
"Do not be sorry, that is where I wish to be," Fawn assured him. "I enjoy bringing you desire and happiness. It makes me happy too."
no subject
John heard that and eased back a little more before he grabbed him and devoured his mouth. He licked his lips and the lust was apparent all over his face.
"Food first," he repeated, mostly for his own benefit.
no subject
Fawn smiled, body flush with want and joy.
"Food, then love," he smiled.
no subject
"If only everyone were so easy to please," he smiled. He really needed to step away, he was already stirring behind his fly.
"Want a beer?" John asked and turned away before Fawn could notice.
no subject
"Yes, I want beer, and food, and then sex. Why do we leave the bed when people will bring us meals and we can lay in one another's arms?" Fawn asked, bouncing just a little.
no subject
"Eating in bed is how you get ants," John said, carrying the bottles to Fawn and offering him one.
no subject
"I like ants, they are small and work hard," Fawn said, taking the drink and sipping.
no subject
"They don't need to work hard in bed," he laughed, carrying his beer to the sofa where he clicked on the TV and took out his phone.
Anything to distract himself from thoughts of Fawn on a pole.
no subject
Fawn instantly settled in close, nearly in John's lap as he curled up beside him.
"They might be though," the fae noted.
no subject
John slipped his arm around him, sure he could keep it together until after they ate.
He laid his phone down and tipped his chin to fee Fawn.
"No ants," he said.
no subject
"If we had a cat, there would be no ants," The fae grinned.
