Willy Silver had been kind, and now that Fawn was more comfortable wandering around the city he decided to seek him out. It was hard finding the bar again, but the petite fae managed, and he headed inside to find the other prince.

When he spotted him by the bar, Fawn silently made his way over and pulled himself up onto the high stool beside him.

"Well met, Willy Silver," he said.

Willy laughed softly.

"Neither do I. But is the woods there that are home," he explained.

"I'm okay with my current home, I think. ...It has John, and he is becoming a home to me," Fawn said.

Willy shook his head a little, then paused to sip his drink. John. The prince could see that Fawn was genuinely attached.

"I see," he finally decided to say. He knew Fawn wasn't going o leave. Nymphs and their Love. Fickle thing, love.

"You do not see, you judge," Fawn giggled.

[willysilver]

"it's true," he conceded with a nod. "And I can't promise I'll stop. But I will accept your choice of home."

It was foolish, he thought, and would surely come to a bad end.

"I am glad to hear it," Fawn said. "Perhaps you should come over and meet him," he suggested, then gasped and looked excited.

"We can have cake!"

"Are you inviting me into your home?" Willy asked. He had a feeling John wouldn't be pleased, and that made a tiny part of him eager to disrupt some peace.

"I would enjoy cake."

"I will text him! I have a phone," he added proudly, pulling out the device and tapping on it as he'd been shown. Though his ability to write and read was juvenile at best.

The message went unread and John would only know shortly before he was to return.

But Willy smiled at the message he could see.

"Are you pleased to bring a friend home?" Willy asked warmly. He had a feeling it was an opportunity the nymph had never had before.

"Yes. I have never had a home. ...Or a friend. Not one that wasn't an animal at least," the fae admitted.

[willysilver]

"Then I am most pleased to be called 'friend'," Willy said warmly. "Come, we'll go to the bakery where I got the pastries last time, then you can show me your home."

Fawn looked excited and nodding, bouncing off his stool.

[willysilver]

Willy stood, towering over him, and laid a hand on his back.

"This sounds promising," he smiled. "Let's go get cake."

The bakery wasn't far from the Alpha and they were beginning to close up. There were only three cakes to choose from at this hour.

"Which shall it be?" he asked.

"That one," Fawn said, pointing to a pink monstrosity.

Willy smiled and had them box it up.

"Have you any money?" he asked.

[fawnthefae]

"I do!" Fawn nodded, looking excited as he pulled a crisp fifty pound note from his pocket. "Is this enough?"

[willysilver]

"More than enough," he nodded.

Once the cake was Fawn's, Willy smiled.

"I have an idea. Let's enjoy it in the sunset. I know a place."

"But I already told John we were bringing it home," Fawn replied, confused.

[willysilver]

"You are very focused," Willy smiled. He was sure this was a bad idea, but the little fae wasn't going to be lured.

He used to be much better at this.

Resigned to the invitation, he nodded.

"Another sunset tomorrow, then."

[fawnthefae]

"I don't want to worry him," Fawn replied, taking the cake with a nod of thanks.

It wasn't too long of a walk back to the flat, and he passed Willy the cake so he could open the door.

Willy hesitated at the door. He could feel the wards. He could feel how unwelcome he was.

And yet he followed Fawn in, the power of the fae's claim to the home and the invitation allowing him to enter without trouble.

"What in the bloody fuck," John said when he saw him towering over Fawn.

"Well met, John Constantine," Willy said. His magic fizzled out. Invite or not, he had no power here.

"I sent you a text," Fawn said, looking confused. "I have brought home cake, and a friend."

[willysilver]

"You didn't say who the friend was," John said.

He wasn't angry, but was on guard.

Willy smiled devilishly.

"Fawn invited me into his home. Come dine with us, warlock," he said with perfect, formal manners.

"Willy is trying to convince me to leave, so I wanted to show him why I stay," Fawn explained, looking worried. "...Did I do something wrong?"

[willysilver]

John sighed softly.

"No, love, you didn't do anything wrong," he said. He'd practically pushed him out the door, and it really was no wonder he'd make friends with Willy Silver. Of all people.

Willy's smile curved a little more into a smirk, then vanished. He waved a hand and dishes floated from the kitchen to adorn the table. The sharpest of John's knived passed right before his face on its way to the cake.
