Apparently the fish man only brought fish, and the pizza man only pizza. If they wanted a fan they had to go to Asda. Fawn didn't know what an Asda was, but the building was big and people were leaving with carts full of stuff. Exciting!

Inside they were greeted by a large display of plush bears, and fawn gasped.

"Friends. We should free them."

Fawn dropped the bear in the cart, then reached for a large pillow.

"We need new pillows. We need many new things for the new home, not just the fan," the fae insisted. "Oh, clothing!"

This was turning into the sort of shopping trip where Fawnwas going to need to trick the debit machine. Settling on that, John was much more open to a bit of brash consumerism.

"Clothes it is," he grinned., following along.

Fawn picked up a long white nightgown, then a pair of shorts and some shirts, and some sandals...

"I like Asda. Asda is nice."

"Slow down or you'll have to get a trolley, too," he chuckled. It made his heart light to see the fae's joy. It made him see Asdain a whole new light.

"We can go to the new home tonight if you want. It is built, though I need more furniture. There is a bed though, I crafted it myself. Though we need bedding," Fawn noted. "I found a mattress someone had discarded, and used magic to make it new. It is very nice."

[petty_dabbler]

"Bedding is that way," he smiled. "I'd like to see it. You've been so bust with it."

[fawnthefae]

"I think you will like it very much," Fawn said, wandering to the bedding and picking out a plush, dark gree, velvet blanket, along with some fine cotton sheets.

John leaned forward on the handle, admiring Fawn as he made his choices. He only ever found him charming. He wondered if he was blind to something Fin could see clearly...and then he decided it was just the other fae's bias. Fawn was fine.

"I like that green," he said. "It looks like it'd be good to stay in bed all day with you."

Fawn smiled brightly at that, purring happily.

"Yes," he agreed. "It will be bliss- As it always is when we lay together," he added with a soft smile.

"But the place has more than a bed, right? Toilet? Kitchen?" John asked, not sure he could even guess what sort of house a wild fae would conjure up.

[fawnthefae]

"Of course, it is like flat, except it is ours. We are the lord of our land," Fawn replied.

[petty_dabbler]

"That's nothing I've ever had," he chuckled. "No landlord? Not possible."

"What else do we need? I think they have everything possible here if we look around."

[fawnthefae]

"Plants," Fawn said. "Inside plants."

[petty_dabbler]

"That'll be an adventure. I've never kept a plant alive in my life," John chuckled. "Move along."

Fawn found the plants and picked just a few, one that was in a hanging basket and two that were in cute planters.

"Should we get something for dinner too?"

[petty_dabbler]

"Food," he agreed with a nod. "Maybe something different. Something new."

He adored fish and chips, but there was a world of food. Fawn just needed to learn.

"Like what?" Fawn asked, instantly drawn to a display of ice pops.

[petty_dabbler]

"I could cook bangers and mash," he offered. "Sausage and potatoes. I think you'll like it."

Wordlessly, he put the box of pops in the basket.

[fawnthefae]

"Okay," Fawn replied, even though he wasn't sure what that was. John had shown him many good things, he trusted him. "What else do you want? I have my card, I can make the machine beep for you."

[petty_dabbler]

"Maybe some bread," he replied thoughtfully. Left to his own devises, John ate the same five things, when he remembered to eat at all.

[fawnthefae]

"And we still need a whirly cooling fan thing," the fae noted cheerfully.

[petty_dabbler]

John looked around, but he was a bit lost.

"I think we need to go this way," he said. "We need dishes and pan's yeah? The ones I have stay with the flat."

[fawnthefae]

"Oh. Yes. I found an ice box and a stove- Though it is wood burning. I have connected power though! We should get the mini-wave machine too. Homes need very much, don't they?" Fawn noted.

[petty_dabbler]

"Homes don't need much at all," John replied. "You can get by fine with just a roof and a few friends. But all these things are really nice to have. These are the sausages I mean. Trust me, you'll like it."

"I trust you," Fawn assured him, smiling softly.
